Established in 2015, the Demon Sea Men is one of the original KOK float krewes. In the beginning, the krewe donned tuxedos and skull masks and rode in a boat named, “The Demon Sea Men.” The name stuck. Over the next 7 years the Demon Sea Men and their floats have gotten bigger and better, recently winning the coveted Captain’s award for best float. This year, the Demon Sea Men are cajuns from south Louisiana riding wild in an airboat driven by a demon gator. Look carefully and you will notice that the boat’s fan blades turn and the gator actually moves the controls. Members of the krewe will be throwing swamp-themed beads, stuffed animals, inflatables, candy, moon pies and our coveted cups and shirts.
