Formed in 2017, the Magic Bus is a funky, fun, retro celebration on wheels. A ragtag group of dads came together 9 years ago with one simple vision: to relive and share the smooth music, carefree vibes, and good times of yesterday. In just two weeks, these groovy souls rescued and resurrected a classic 1996 Blue Bird school bus from the Houston County school bus graveyard, giving it new life and purpose. Hand-painted and keeping the Mardi Gras spirit alive each year, the bus became the legendary BON TEMPS MAGIC BUS—a rolling tribute to peace, love, rhythm, and revelry. Moving with high energy, the Magic Bus cruises the Dothan city streets past Solomon Park, churches, as well as homes and businesses on a never-ending magical mystery tour, spreading smiles, memories, and irresistible grooves wherever it goes. It‘s not just a ride—it‘s a vibe! “Laissez les bon temps rouler!”
